Dr. VVVS Murthy has contributed to over 1000 project in the span of past 40 years in the fields of thermal, bio-mass,solar power, lime calcining and mines and collieries material handling.

Some of the major structures he has contributed to are International Airport Shamshabad, Hyderabad Metro station, Riyadh Metro station, Polavaram Dam head regulator on Godavary river, Srisailam dam Left bank tunnel, Heavy duty metal crash barriers for NMDC, Kirandul.

He has also played his hand in the fields of Acting, Script writing, and Music composition. With over 30 years of experience in acting, four years of experience in classical dance and traditional painting and Karnatic music, he has excelled in various socio cultural fields as well.
