Dr. Rama Seshagiri Rao Channapragada is a Ph.D holder in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTUH, Hyderabad, M.Tech in Computer Science from JNTUH, MIT from Northern Territory University, Australia and B.E. in Computer Science from Gulbarga University. His extensive research in the area of Digital Watermarking based on Curvelets and Ridgelets & an important aspect of cyber security is noteworthy. He has published more than 20 papers in International Journals, 5 papers in International IEEE Conferences, 5 International book chapters including “Good Governance”, published 3 books by an International publisher and two International Patents and one Indian Patent in the areas of Image processing, Digital watermarking, Cyber security and Machine Learning. One PhD scholar guided by him has been awarded Doctorate degree from Sridhar University, Rajastan.
He started his career as a software engineer. Later switched to become an associate of JNTU affiliated organization. With over 28 years of experience, he worked in organizations of repute viz; APIIT SD INDIA, SVEC, BVRIT, GCET, CMRIT & KMCE at various capacities. He is working as the Director of Pallavi Engineering College, Hyderabad.
He has conducted and presented seminars, AICTE sponsored faculty development programs, guest lectures’ etc. He is an expert advisor for NAAC and NBA certifications. SVIT, CMRIT were couple of organizations certified under his guidance. He believes that education is pathway to be a better global citizen that develops self confidence to lead a fulfilled & contented life.
As an Educator, I understand the benefits of educating the whole child, and have been calling for more support and fewer barriers in making this vision a reality.
Dr Sheshagiri Sir is passionate about connecting with experts in the field of Technology, Agriculture and Education & understanding best practices to transfer the same to students to build their thought process to enrich their knowledge.
